Kamloops is part of a planned sovereign AI data-centre cluster. CBC reports the federal government and Telus announced a proposal that would expand Telus’s existing Kamloops facility and build two new data centres in Vancouver. The project would begin with an 85-megawatt power draw and scale up to 150 megawatts by 2032. (CBC)
