East Kamloops is still not fully back to normal on water. The city says water service has been restored and regular water use can resume, but water-quality restrictions remain by zone. Barnhartvale remains under a do-not-consume order. Valleyview remains under a boil-water advisory. Potable water is available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Fire Hall 6 and Valleyview Arena. Fourth Avenue sewer work will close another downtown stretch. CFJC reports 4th Avenue from Victoria Street to Seymour Street will close starting Tuesday, May 19, and continuing until June 5 for paving tied to the Sewer Upgrades Project. Kamloops will host B.C.’s first outdoor-recreation conference next week.
