Campbell Creek, Valleyview, Dallas, Rose Hill and Juniper Ridge have been cleared for normal water use after testing; Barnhartvale remains under a do-not-consume order, with a potable-water station near the landfill. The North Thompson search has become a presumed drowning investigation. Kamloops RCMP said May 18 that a 24-year-old woman is missing after her car left Schubert Drive near Birch Avenue on May 17; a 21-year-old passenger was rescued and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. (Castanet)
