Two fires broke out on Kamloops’ North Shore on May 29. Cedar hedges lining the Rotary Community Garden were scorched in one blaze, with neighbours jumping fences to help crews contain it — taking about an hour and a half to extinguish. Both fires are under investigation. (CFJC Today)
