Kamloops is exploring cooling requirements for older rental units. Castanet reports Coun. Dale Bass’s motion passed 4-3 Tuesday, directing staff to look at whether the city can require existing rentals to keep at least one room at 26 C or cooler. The Midweek Market is expanding onto Victoria Street starting Wednesday. Kamloops RCMP are investigating a Sunday morning stabbing downtown. CFJC reports one person was taken to hospital after a stabbing in the 300-block of Victoria Street.
