The City is warning residents about fake property-tax discount texts. The City says someone posing as the mayor has been asking residents for a copy of their tax notice and an upfront payment. Kamloops RCMP are asking for witnesses after a bus and pickup collided on Victoria Street West. Castanet reports about 10 passengers were on the bus Wednesday afternoon, with no injuries reported and police looking to speak with anyone who saw the crash. (Castanet)
