Kamloops RCMP are asking for help identifying two people after a downtown mural was defaced. Radio NL reports police released surveillance images after significant damage was done to a recently commissioned mural in the 200-block of Fourth Avenue. A decommissioned school bus being used as a living space caught fire near Kamloops Airport. CFJC reports Kamloops Fire Rescue was called to a commercial property off Farm Road at about 12:30 p.m. Monday, where crews found the bus fully engulfed and had to bring in extra water because of the remote location. Kamloops RCMP are looking for missing resident Timothy Hughes. Castanet reports Hughes, 50, was reported missing by his sister on June 13 and was last known to have been seen on the North Shore on June 19. Police say he is an avid kayaker known to frequent parks and areas near the Thompson River. (Castanet)
