Kamloops council is supporting Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc’s bid to add three Yellowhead Highway properties to reserve lands. Kamloops RCMP are asking for help identifying a person of interest after a suspicious Brocklehurst house fire. Police say the June 19 fire in the 2400-block of Young Avenue is believed to have been intentionally set, and investigators are looking for CCTV or dashcam footage from the Young Avenue and Windbreak Street area.
