Kamloops Search and Rescue crews pulled a shoeless hiker from steep terrain near the Tranquille Slot Canyons. CFJC and Castanet report KSAR was called early Thursday after RCMP located the woman below a cliff; rescuers brought food, water and boots, then used rope-rescue training to get her to BC Emergency Health Services by about 6 a.m. (CFJC Today · Castanet)
