TNRD planned to put 70 Mile House under evacuation order Monday morning. The regional district said the order was expected at 10 a.m. because of projected growth from the Pear Lake wildfire, which has now combined with the Fiftynine Creek fire. Emergency Support Services were expected to become available once the order took effect. (CFJC Today · Radio NL)

🚨 Safety
Clinton officials said no additional structure losses had been identified Sunday, but the fire still threatened the village. The Village said crews were coordinating with BC Hydro, FortisBC, Telus and other service providers, though conditions remained unsafe for rapid damage assessments. BC Wildfire said drought-affected fuels could still drive more fire growth in the coming days. (Radio NL · CFJC Today)
Cooler, more humid weather gave crews a chance to work on the Brunswick Complex fires near Boston Bar and Highway 8. BC Wildfire said the Ainslie Creek, Brunswick Creek and Anderson Creek fires were seeing less aggressive behaviour than earlier in the week, but afternoon winds could still push fire growth. Crews were working on containment lines near the northern and northeastern flanks. (Castanet)
Kamloops RCMP are investigating a suspicious interface fire near Orchards Walk. Kamloops Fire Rescue knocked down the small fire along the South Thompson River bank Saturday, and police said they spoke with at least two people who were in the area. (CFJC Today)
