🏛️ What Changed

Kamloops council chose the alternative approval process for borrowing tied to the new RCMP headquarters. Council voted 5-4 to use an AAP instead of putting the question directly on the October municipal election ballot. If 10 per cent of eligible voters oppose the borrowing, the issue would need to go to referendum or return to council. (CFJC Today)
