Kamloops Airport is asking to display a retiring Snowbirds Tutor jet after the aircraft’s likely final local stop. The recreational off-road vehicle prohibition in the Kamloops Fire Centre and 100 Mile House Forest District ends at noon Friday. Westbound bridge maintenance on Halston Avenue is scheduled to continue Friday between Salish Road and Eighth Street. The left lane will be closed while crews apply linseed oil. Drain cleaning is also underway on Highway 1 through Kamloops, with slow-moving equipment expected in both directions.
