Kamloops has set its annual property tax sale for September 28 at 10 a.m. in City Hall’s council chambers. The auction concerns properties with three years of unpaid taxes. Under the Local Government Act, original owners have one year after a sale to redeem their property by paying what is owed plus interest. (City of Kamloops)

The Proactive Enforcement Team also reported about 159 grams of illicit drugs seized, a stolen vehicle recovered and 24 investigative files opened during the September 3 to 5 deployment.
